Cherry Almond Thumbprint Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup white sugar
½ tsp almond extract
2 cups flour
½ cup Seaquist Orchards Cherry Almond Jam
½ cup powdered sugar
¾ tsp almond extract
1 tsp milk

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, cream together butter and white sugar until smooth. Mix in ½ tsp almond extract. Mix in flour until dough comes together. Roll dough into 1 ½ inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Make small hole in each using your thumb and finger and fill the hole with jam. Bake for 14-18 min or until browned. In a medium bowl mix together powdered sugar, extract and milk until smooth, lightly drizzle over warm cookies.

INGREDIENTS:

1 8oz. block cream cheese (softened)
1 lb. browned/drained pork sausage (such as Jimmy Dean, mild, med or hot)
1 16oz jar Seaquist Orchards Cherry Salsa (mild, medium, or hot)

DIRECTIONS:

Mix all ingredients together well and serve warm with tortilla chips.

 

Cherry Fiesta Chicken

INGREDIENTS:

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1-16 oz jar Seaquist Orchards Cherry Salsa (mild, medium, or hot)

DIRECTIONS:

Put all ingredients in a crock pot, cook on low 8 hrs or high for 3-4 hrs. Eat as is, or shred and use for tacos.

 

Devils Steak Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

2 tablespoons Seaquist Orchards Raspberry Jam
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons malt vinegar
5 drops hot sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over high heat. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

 

Fruit Vinaigrette

INGREDIENTS:

¼ cup olive oil
1 cup rice vinegar
1 (10oz) jar Seaquist Orchards Seedless Raspberry Jam (or another favorite flavor)

DIRECTIONS:

Combine the olive oil, vinegar and jam in a blender until smooth. Store in a container in the refrigerator.

 

Jammy Oatmeal Bars

INGREDIENTS:

1 stick butter
½ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
1 cup oats
1 9oz jar any flavor Seaquist Orchards jam (we recommend Seaquist Orchards Whole Cherry Jam!)

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350, Line an 8x8 parchment paper. Cream butter with sugar and salt, add flour, mix until combined. Stir in oats. Mixture should be crumbly. Press 2/3 of mixture in pan. In a small saucepan heat jam until it becomes pourable. Pour over dough in pan, then sprinkle remaining dough over jam. Bake for 30 minutes, cool for 30 minutes. Then pull out parchment paper and cool completely on a rack.

Seaquist's Sweet Spread

INGREDIENTS:

1 8oz block cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
8 oz whipped topping
¾ cup any flavor Seaquist Orchards jam
Nilla wafers or fruit

DIRECTIONS:

In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese with sugar until well blended. Add whipped topping until smooth. Fold in jam until spread throughout. Refrigerate one hour before serving. Serve with nilla wafers or fruit.

Sweet and Sour Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

¼ cup Seaquist Orchards Peach Jam
¼ cup Seaquist Orchards Apricot Jam
5 teaspoons white vinegar
1 ½ teaspoon cornstarch
½ teaspoon soy sauce
½ teaspoon yellow mustard
Pinch of garlic powder
4 teaspoons water

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over high heat. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
