 May

Blossom time has arrived!

May 16, 2012  Opening Day!

Stop in and say hello.  We are looking forward to seeing many familiar faces!

May 19, 2012  Sister Bay Village Wide Rummage Sale

Here at Seaquist Orchards Farm Market, we will have a multiple family sale going on, with all kinds of fun, functional and fairly nice items for you to check out, including lots of furniture, household items, toys and books.  There may even be some appliances and beds – but not any children – we can’t part with them – we love them too much!

June

Here comes summer….

June 30, 2012 Taste of Fall

A fun family event!

This will be our third year for the Taste of Fall event, and it becomes more fun each season.  Last year, we welcomed back the Old Man.  Boy, we were so glad to see him, and we could tell that you were too!  This year, we will have special guests, our famous cider doughnuts, pumpkin doughnuts, a frost your own doughnut station, along with delicious pieces of cake given to each of you by Mr. Seaquist himself.  Lunch will be available, along with our super sampling.

 July

Cherry season is upon us – usually!

Every Saturday in July is Super Sampling Saturday

Often featuring special vendors and their goodies, and

always offering an over abundance of samples.  Lunch is available too!

July 14, 2012 Pie Under Door Sky

If you were able to join us in 2011 for our first ever Pie Under Door Sky, you know that you won’t want to miss it in 2012.  We offer pie, music, a special evening of discounted shopping, and hopefully, a beautiful night to be outdoors.  All activities are held indoors if the weather is inclement, so plan to come, no matter what the weatherman says!

July 28, 2012 Cherry Season at Seaquist’s Festival

This is going to be a fun day!  We are doing it a little differently than we have in the past, and we hope that you will really enjoy it!  Cherry pit spit competition, cherry pie making, orchard tours, coloring, cherry tattoos, peddle carts, pie eating contest, lunch, - all these things will be available to participate in all day!  Oops!  We don’t want to forget to tell you that cherry products will be on sale, and we will have a wonderful new cherry bakery item to offer.  We are looking forward to this date, and to having you with us.

August

Cherries harvest usually is finished in early August, and we look to the season of apples, but we’re not there yet….

 Super Sampling Saturdays

Yum! Again!

August18, 2012  Pie Under Door Sky

An evening to remember! Again!

September

Here comes fall…..and Mr. Seaquist with his knife and apples to sample!

Super Sampling Saturday

As the apples begin to fill the Apple Barn, we step the sampling up another notch – to give you a taste of some special fall flavors.

 October

The Apple Barn will be full of apples, and the market will be bursting with things to enjoy!

Super Sampling Saturdays

Cheese, sausage, apple products and lots of other wonderful goodies.  You name it – we’ll be sampling it!

October 6, 2012 Apples Season at Seaquist’s Festival

This day is memorable!  Family fun abounds, with live music, make your own caramel apples, paint your own pumpkin, lunch, apple launching, fresh popped kettle corn – and once again, these activities will be available throughout the day.

 Seaquist Orchards Farm Tours:

Seaquist Orchards Farm MarketSeaquist Orchards Farm Market offers group tours May 15 through October. Well-groomed roads throughout several acres of cherries, apples, raspberries and apricots offer an opportunity for customers to see a "working farm."

When the coach arrives at the market, a tour guide steps right on the coach and gives a fun, informative 20-30 minute tour. After the tour, apple cider and a wide variety of samples (jams, fudge, mustards, dried cherries, salsa) are available, along with some great shopping!

This orchard tour has become one of the most popular stops for several of the major tour companies that come to Door County.

Prices

  • Cost: $3.00 per person - 2 complimentary (minimum of $40)
  • Time: Allow 1 hr. for tour and shopping
