What we hope to see next summer

What we hope to see next summer

Visiting Seaquist Orchards Farm Market on busy fall weekend is like going to an old time county fair. There is lots of food on display that you can sample before you buy. Dale Seaquist is in the apple barn talking apples and handing out samples. The bakery case is full of apple, cherry and three-berry pies, cherry buttons, warm apple cider donuts and more. There is a hay bale maze for the kids and a picnic/playground to for you to relax at while you enjoy some treats from the market. So pay us a visit before the end of the season. But remember if you miss us in person, you can still shop online for many of the good things we feature in the market.

Seaquist Orchards Farm Market’s apple barn is packed full of over 20 varieties of our home grown apples. Great for tasting, baking and sharing. Stop by and sample our apples as well as our other specialty foods in our open market.

Seaquist Orchards Apple Festival Oct. 11
Our annual festival will feature: pumpkin painting, face painting, tons of food,  try an apple cider brats, etc. - fresh popped kettle corn, |apple launching, live music, make your own caramel apples - even more sampling than usual.

On a personal note: I HAVE to try an apple cider brat! I hear they are healthier for you, but let’s face it, it’s the taste that I cant wait to experience.

Cherry blossom

Cherry blossom

The photo to the left is something we did NOT see this year in our cherry orchards. However, apple season is soon upon us and we will have dozens of varieties including old favorites like McIntosh, Cortland, and Jonathan. Varieties appropriate for eating, baking, or throwing at your dog. Stay tuned to this blog to find out what is available and when.

We're famous for our cherries...but we grow lots of other fruit too.

It happens every year - summer ends, and school begins - and this year is no different.  The Seaquist’s (Jim, Robin, Dale and Kristin) have a total of 5 children in college this year - Jim and Robin are sending 2 sons off to school, and Dale and Kristin are sending 2 daughters and one son on their way.  So, as we gear up for a very hectic and fun fall, we are also preparing ourselves for much quieter households - the annual adjustment!  Check back as we all return from our college drop offs (not drop outs!), - to learn more about what is going to be happening at Seaquist Orchards Farm Market this fall.
